QILLA ABDULLAH: Qila Abdullah in Balochistan, where a potential tragedy was stopped by security forces, acting swiftly and decisively, neutralized an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown perpetrators near Link Machka Road.
According to official sources, the explosive device was discovered along Link Machka Road, a route frequently used by civilians and law enforcement personnel. The threat was promptly identified by the Levies Force, who immediately fenced off the area and summoned the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
In this regard, the BDS arrived at the scene without delay and successfully defused the bomb, ensuring no loss of life or property.
In this sense, the operation was carried out with utmost care and protection, reflecting the high level of training of the security personnel involved.

Furthermore, authorities have confirmed that the IED was of a sophisticated nature, clearly indicating malicious intent to cause significant harm and destabilize peace in the region.

Moreover, the investigation is currently underway to identify and apprehend those responsible, initial reports suggest the incident was a deliberate attempt to target security personnel and spread fear among the local population.
In such a scenario, the statement was made where senior security officials commended the bravery and efficiency of the Levies personnel and the Bomb Disposal Squad.
“The swift action taken by our forces prevented what could have been a devastating incident,” said a spokesperson.“ This is yet another reminder of the sacrifices and efforts being made daily to protect our people from those who seek to harm our nation.”
This incident underlined the importance of continued vigilance and coordination among security agencies to counter threats before they materialize.
