Three terrorists killed in Joint Operation by forces

Karachi:In a joint operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and an intelligence agency, a raid was carried out on a house in the Manghopir area, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire with terrorists.

According to police officials, three terrorists were killed during the confrontation.

CTD DSP Raja Umar Khattab, while speaking to the media outside Civil Hospital, confirmed that one of the deceased terrorists was a suicide bomber.

He further revealed that two of the terrorists were identified as Zafran and Qudratullah. Zafran was a high-profile militant with a bounty of 20 million rupees on his head, and he was also involved in last year’s attack on Chinese nationals.

During the operation, authorities recovered grenades, suicide vests, and a diary containing a list of intended targets.

CTD officials also confirmed that the terrorists were affiliated with the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and their objective was to incite a new wave of terrorism in the country.
