BANNU: Three terrorists involved in target killing of police personnel, were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by Counter Terrorism Department in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the local news channel report, CTD Bannu and local police conducted an intelligence-based operation in the jurisdiction of Nawazabad police station Miryan on information about the presence of terrorists.
Officials of CTD Bannu confirmed that three terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during the operation, who were involved in the target killing of police constables Farman Ali, Nusrat, Kamran, Head Constable Fayyazuddin, Constable Sikandar and ASI Asghar Khan. The deceased terrorists were wanted by the CTD in dozens of other cases.

According to the CTD Bannu, the slain terrorists were involved in attacks on police stations Basiyakhel Bannu, police stations Bannu City Cantt, Mirakhel and various police check posts.
