Three Indian Nationals Missing in Iran; RAW Network Suspicions Emerge

TEHRAN: The Indian Embassy in Tehran has confirmed that three Indian citizens have gone missing in Iran, raising fresh concerns about the activities of Indian intelligence operatives in the region.

While efforts to locate the individuals are underway, this incident has reignited suspicions of covert intelligence operations possibly linked to India’s external intelligence agency, RAW.

This development echoes a significant past event involving Kulbhushan Yadav, an Indian Navy officer who was apprehended by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, from the province of Balochistan. Yadav later confessed to orchestrating espionage and sabotage activities in Pakistan on behalf of RAW.

Despite India’s claims that he was abducted from Iran, Pakistan presented concrete evidence, including Yadav’s own recorded statements, confirming his arrest within Pakistani territory.

As investigations continue into the current case of the missing Indian nationals, speculation is growing that this may signal another attempt to dismantle an active RAW network operating in the region. Further updates are expected as more details emerge.
