Three bodies found along M-8 highway in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: The bodies of three individuals were recovered from the M-8 National Highway near the Sorgaz area of Khuzdar. The discovery was made during routine patrolling operations in the early hours of the day. Upon reaching the site, the police found the bodies lying along the roadside, showing signs of gunshot wounds.

The police said the three individuals appeared to have been shot and killed. The deceased have been identified as Dr. Abdul Majeed Mengal, Atta ur Rehman Daulatkhanzai, and Mumtaz Ahmed Daulatkhanzai all reportedly residents of Khuzdar district.

In this sense, Edhi Foundation ambulances transported the bodies to Teaching Hospital Khuzdar, where medico-legal formalities are currently underway.

In addition, no group has claimed responsibility for the killings as of yet, and the motive remains unclear. 

However, the incident has created concern among local residents, who are calling for heightened security and swift justice.

The situation remains tense in parts of Khuzdar as the community mourns the loss. The provincial authorities have promised a transparent investigation and assured the families of the victims full cooperation and support.
