Thousands of Afghan nationals return to their country

QUETTA: Thousands of the Afghan nationals repatriate from Iran and Pakistan on Saturday.

According to the Afghan High Commission for Immigrants Affairs, 11,855 Afghan nationals repatriated on Saturday from Pakistan and Iran.

According to the news agency, the Afghan High Commission for the Immigrants Affairs told that returning immigrants are provided with the temporary residence, food, water, medical care and the transport services.

The stats suggests that about 6 million Afghan refugees reside across the world. Most of them are the non-documented people.

The majority of these Afghan nationals resides in Pakistan and Iran.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has had a clear stance about the Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan.

Pakistan aims a peaceful and early repatriation of all such Afghan nationals who have been residing in Pakistan for the past five decades.

Such people are advised to go back to their country now and play their role for the development and the stability of Afghanistan.

Pakistan has to keep the matters of law-and-order and national security in KP and Balochistan in view.

Once the Afghan national return to their country, Pakistan will look forward to carry out the development infrastructure, employment, health and education in the remote areas of KP and Balochistan.

Ironically, despite Pakistan’ hospitality, the Afghan nationals have been involved in the acts of militancy, smuggling, drugs-supply, land-grabbing and other serious crimes causing threats to the law-and-order and the national security.

Furthermore, instead of acknowledging Pakistan’s sacrifice of decades, the Afghan government has been backing and supporting the Indian-sponsored militancy in the KP and Balochistan.

The militants-attacks have been launched on the security forces, innocent civilians and the development infrastructure not only in KP and Balochistan but also in Karachi and Punjab areas.

The militant groups like TTP, BLA, Majeed Brigade, Daish and many others have been launching attacks on the Pakistani territory for the past four decades.

Thousands of innocent people have been brutally killed in those militant-attacks.

Such militants moved backed and supported by Afghanistan are not a fair return of Pakistan’s sacrifices and goodwill.
