US Journal calls BLA a regional threat

Washington: An American publication has declared the Balochistan Liberation Army’s (BLA) strategy a grave danger to the entire region.

In its report, RealClearWorld stated that the BLA’s entire focus is on criminal and terrorist activities.

The report noted that the BLA engages in train hijackings, targeted killings, and attacks on public and government sites.

This trend is deemed more dangerous than traditional separatist movements.

The publication highlighted that the BLA is now creating obstacles in resolving the genuine issues of the Baloch people.

Baloch political and social leaders seek solutions through constitutional, political, practical negotiations, and reconciliation.

However, the BLA is actively pursuing a strategy to sabotage any such efforts.

The report revealed a alarming nexus: the BLA’s collaboration with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and several other terrorist organizations strengthens the perception of international backing for terrorism.

Train hijackings and attacks on multiple cities represent a highly dangerous pattern.

Extortion (protection money), kidnapping for ransom, smuggling, and other illegal activities serve as the BLA’s primary sources of revenue.
