The government reviews Gwadar-Oman Sea rout

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, chaired a high-level meeting on multimodal connectivity, where he reviewed the progress of the Gwadar-Oman Sea route project.

During the session, he directed authorities to allocate 100 acres of land for the development of road and rail tracks under the initiative.

The minister was also briefed on broader connectivity plans aimed at establishing trade routes to Central Asia.

Turkmenistan was highlighted as a potential key gateway in the proposed corridor.
