ISLAMABAD: The extremist elements have once again resorted to creating fabricated material aimed at spreading fear among innocent civilians.
Furthermore, investigations reveal that these individuals lack both public support and operational strength, relying instead on propaganda tactics to maintain visibility. In this regard, officials focus on the fact that the overwhelming majority of citizens remain resilient against such intimidation.
In this sense, observers mention that these fake productions serve multiple purposes for militant groups: projecting power, attracting foreign sympathy, and undermining the state’s stability. However, they stress that the effectiveness of such tactics has diminished considerably in recent years.
In such a scenario, the community leaders and civil society organizations have also played an important role in countering extremist propaganda by promoting unity and spreading accurate information.
Moreover, at the national level, security forces remain committed to exposing false claims and ensuring the safety of citizens.
