QUETTA : Senior Provincial Minister of Balochistan, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent suicide bomb blast in Islamabad, labeling it a cowardly act by terrorist elements desperately trying to destabilize Pakistan.
In an official statement, the Minister for Irrigation and member of the PPP’s Central Committee asserted that these nefarious attempts to disrupt the nation’s peace would ultimately fail. He accused the terrorists of targeting innocent civilians in public places at the behest of their “foreign masters,” describing the heinous act as despicable and warning that its punishment would follow them.
Umrani expressed his profound grief and deep regret over the martyrdom of innocent people in the explosion, calling it an irreparable loss. He emphasized the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani people and the nation’s law enforcement agencies to root out the scourge of terrorism. “In such difficult circumstances,” he stated, “we have to confront these destructive elements with determination and courage.”
Highlighting the nation’s long-standing struggle, the minister reflected on the immense sacrifices made by the people and security forces over more than two decades in the war against terrorism. He expressed firm optimism, stating, “God willing, the day is not far when our country will become a cradle of peace and prosperity.”
Umrani commended the serious efforts being undertaken by the federal government and law enforcement agencies to establish law and order and suppress terrorist elements, predicting that the best results of these efforts would soon be visible.
Concluding his statement, the senior minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs. He prayed for the departed souls to be granted a high place in Jannat and for their bereaved families to be bestowed with patience and fortitude, also wishing a speedy recovery for those injured in the attack.
