Terrorist network neutralised in Buleda's operation

KECH: The Security forces successfully neutralised a terrorist group during an intelligence-based operation in Buleda, Balochistan. The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan troops engaged a terrorist tashkeel that had been spotted approximately 3.5 kilometers north-east of Kotan.

The operation was launched following confirmed intelligence reports regarding the presence of the militants in the rugged mountainous area.

The security forces displayed precision and tactical strength, resulting in the complete neutralisation of the terrorist group.

Furthermore, the military sources said the neutralised group had been involved in sabotage activities, including attacks on security convoys and the planting of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to target law enforcement personnel and civilians alike.

In this sense, the local residents expressed relief over the operation’s success, stating that such actions restore a sense of security in the region.

Meanwhile, the district administration has assured the community that vigilance will remain high and further steps will be taken to prevent the re-emergence of terrorist cells.
