QUETTA: The security forces successfully thwarted an attempted terrorist attack on the Raisani check post located in the Hazar Ganji area of Quetta.
As per the verified sources of law enforcement authorities, unidentified militants launched an armed assault on the check post in an apparent bid to destabilize the security environment of the region.
However, the alertness and rapid action of the security personnel on duty averted a major catastrophe. The situation was brought under control in a matter of minutes, and no casualties were reported among security forces or civilians.

The area was immediately cordoned off, and a search operation was launched to apprehend the attackers or any accomplices.
