ISLAMABAD: Renowned Analyst, writer, dramatist and a great patriot Aashir Azeem says that with the growing terrorism in Baluchistan, India is charged up to raise the narrative that Pakistan is not being able to cope with the unrest on its territory.
Talking to the podcast of Buraq Digital, Ashir Azeem said that if you take a look on the Indian media, every sentence they utter, is false and lie.
Having said that, he affirmed that they also categorically confess that their intelligence agency backs the militants’ attacks in Baluchistan.
He further said that he himself, being a strong supporter of human rights would not believe that in the past, but now I have no doubt whatsoever that India is fueling to terrorism in Baluchistan.
He said that apart from a few YouTube channels, our mainstream media is no talking about this. So, I think it has become unavoidable now to counter that propaganda campaign on Pakistan’s national media.
Ashir Azeem shared his review on the current terrorist attacks and said that if you minutely observe all the phases, the terrorists primarily aimed to target the military installations and the armed forces.
But when they witnessed their failure, then they went on to look for soft targets like attacking buses and killing innocent civilians.
Showing hostility to the actors was the worst part of all that. Azeem said that let’s see what happened even before these attacks.
India charged on Pakistan with missile and aircraft attacks. But when they suffered a huge loss and got embarrassed globally, they then asked their proxies to make militant operations.
The militants themselves shifted to hard to soft targets.
Ashir said that I used to urge people that why to always blame external hands behind the unrest and provocation, why does not that state itself take up the responsibility of chaos and uncertainty.
But now I am strongly of the view that the foreign powers and the foreign interest is undoubtedly backing the terrorism.
Ashir Azeem said that the common Baloch is ruined and destroyed in the ongoing rift in Baluchistan.
But the beneficiaries residing in the foreign countries are getting their pockets filled.
He stressed that Kurd are an unshaken fact in Baluchistan and I do not disrespect them.
But one has to understand that even in Turkey, the peace prevailed when the Kurds surrendered.
So, I must say to the common people that they should not be fooled for those who have personnel gains.
Those who are funded to support neutralizing CPEC or those who support separatism do have financial gains. But a common Baloch will get nothing out of it.
Ashir Azeem said that I have been asking them that what exactly is the demand that you people advocate.
If you are talking about the minerals and the gas resources, if you want those military check posts to be routed out, then I must say that the unrest and terrorism’s history existed even when all the above said issues did not exist.

The problem is that they want a break away from the state by exploiting missing persons issue but the militants created chaos even before any such issue ever began.
