ISLAMABAD: Propaganda by BLA sympathizers and propagandists claims: “The federal government and armed forces asserted there was no terrorism in Balochistan, while it’s rampant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—but the recent attacks in Balochistan have proven PTI’s narrative correct.”
In reality, neither the federal government nor the military ever claimed terrorism or its risks were absent in Balochistan. What they stated—and this has been proven accurate—is that the provincial government, its machinery, the Chief Minister, and his cabinet are fully cooperating in the fight against terrorism and actively supporting security forces in operations against militants.
This claim was convincingly demonstrated yesterday and today by Balochistan’s Chief Minister, the provincial police, and its Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). They stand solidly alongside the state of Pakistan in confronting BLA’s armed terrorism like an unbreakable wall.
From the Chief Minister’s media interactions yesterday and today’s press conference, it’s evident that the Balochistan government is resolute against terrorists and terrorism, fully aware of ground realities, and completely prepared to counter them effectively.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, his team, cabinet, and PTI leadership do not view TTP as terrorists, refuse to label their attacks as terrorism, create obstacles and ambiguities in front of anti-terrorism operations, and allow their social media to promote terrorist narratives.
This has created a conducive environment for TTP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
