Terror strikes again: BLA, BLF held responsible of ethnic cleansing in Balochistan

QUETTA: The cold-blooded murder of Ali Muhammad Azam in Malingzai, Manguchar, indicates another tragic entry in the long and bloody record of anti-state terrorism in Balochistan.

This is perpetrated by the banned outfits Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), the killing highlights the growing trend of targeted violence against innocent Baloch civilians, particularly youth, under the pretense of fighting for Baloch rights.

Furthermore, this killing is not an isolated event but part of a systematic pattern. The so-called freedom fighters of the BLA and BLF have long abandoned any legitimate political cause and have instead become instruments of fear and death, targeting their own people to serve foreign agendas.

In this regard, every other day, reports emerge of young Baloch men being abducted, tortured, and executed by these terrorists.

The government has vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice. However, the broader challenge remains: how to counter this campaign of fear and misinformation that continues to rob Balochistan of its brightest minds and most hopeful hearts.
