BANNU: Mazang Police Station in Bannu came under attack by Fitna Al-Khawarij. The attackers attempted to target the facility but were met with an immediate and powerful response from the Bannu police.
District Police Officer (DPO) Saleem Abbas endorsed that there were no casualties or injuries reported during the incident.
In this regard, the police department described the attack as a “well-coordinated but failed attempt” to spread chaos in the heart of the city.
So far, the security has been heightened across all sensitive installations in Bannu, with additional checkpoints established in and around the city to prevent further incidents.

This latest attack comes amid ongoing counter-terrorism operations across KP, with authorities reasserting their commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the province.
