Taftan: FIA arrests 20 foreigners involved in human trafficking

QUETTA: As many as 20 foreigners involved in human trafficking and illegal border crossing were arrested by FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Taftan.

The FIA spokesperson told local news outlet that the arrested suspects belong to Bangladesh who had come to Pakistan on a visit visa. The suspects tried to cross the border from Mashkel Border, Chagai District.

He further said that the said operation was carried out with the assistance of Frontier Corps officials. The arrested were failed to provide any legal documents and they could not provide a satisfactory answer.

FIA spokesperson further said that the arrested suspects include Babul Hussain, Mian Arif, Shopan, Abdullah, Muhammad Kabul, Mehdi Hassanul Amin, Saghar Hussain, Najm Al-Hussain, Habibur Rehman, Anarul Haq, Rujab Ali, Sujab Ali, Asad, Rubel Mian, Arafat Ali, Ayman Akonda and Shabbir Ali. The suspects have been arrested and an investigation has been initiated.
