QUETTA: The dead body of Syed Aryan Shah, who died during treatment in India, reached Quetta on Thursday. His Namaz-i-Janaza was offered in Quetta, and was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard on Sarki Road.
A large number of locals attended the funeral. He was laid to rest in a local cemetery, reflecting the community’s solidarity with the grieving family.
Aryan had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Chennai for six months. He had suffered from liver and lung disease for five years. He died on April 25 in the Chennai hospital.
The hospital refused to release his body until the dues were cleared.
The Balochistan Chief Minister intervened. He ordered officials to pay the dues and bring the body back. After seven days, Aryan’s body arrived in Quetta with his mother.
Aryan Shah, a young resident of Quetta was suffering from heart and lung diseases. He traveled to Chennai, India, for medical treatment but unfortunately passed away on April 25 during treatment.
His body was transported from Chennai to Karachi via Colombo (Sri Lanka) and later brought to Quetta.
