QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) released a propaganda video of the attack, attempting to portray it as a “victory.” However, experts say the footage, showing militants waving weapons and vandalizing public offices, was short-lived and misleading.
The banned terrorist outfit Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) launched an attack on Surab city in central Balochistan, briefly occupying public infrastructure before being eliminated by Pakistan’s security forces.
The assault began in the early morning hours when a group of armed militants stormed key public buildings in Surab, including the Assistant Commissioner’s office. Tragically, Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Surab, Hidayat Ullah Buledi, was martyred during the attack. Buledi, a committed civil officer known for his efforts in local development, was reportedly executed by the assailants in cold blood.
