QUETTA: The Balochistan Education Department has officially released the summer vacation schedule for all public and private schools across the province.

According to the notification, schools located in summer zone areas will remain closed from May 17 to July 31, 2025. This directive applies to all relevant institutions, including those under the Balochistan Education Foundation, with strict instructions for full compliance.

Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Department is also reviewing the possibility of advancing summer vacations due to the ongoing severe heatwave.

Initially, the summer break in Punjab was scheduled from June 1 to August 9. However, officials are now considering starting holidays a week earlier than originally planned, although no formal notification has yet been issued.
