KALAT: The members of civil society, school children, and teachers took to the streets of Kalat to honor the martyrs of the recent terrorist attack in Khuzdar, carried out by the Indian-sponsored Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a group designated as a terrorist organization by the government, the United Nations, and several international bodies.
Furthermore, they were waving national flags and holding placards bearing messages of peace and unity, hundreds of students marched through the heart of the city. The event, organized by local educators and community leaders, reflected a strong message of defiance: terrorism may strike, but it will never crush the spirit of Balochistan.
In this regard, the Khuzdar attack, which targeted a school in a cowardly attempt to spread fear and instability, was universally condemned across the country.
So far, several observers noted the emotional but determined tone of the march. The demonstration also included speeches by religious scholars, local officials, and student leaders who called on the international community to hold sponsors of terrorism accountable.
In #Qalat, schoolchildren stood tall where cowards tried to strike low.

On the contrary, the BLA, long accused of violent insurgency and foreign collaboration, has increasingly lost support among local populations. Once seen as a threat, it is now viewed by many as an external pawn aimed at disrupting the peace and progress of Pakistan’s largest province.
However, the march ended with collective prayers for the martyrs and their families, one thing became clear: the youth of Balochistan are not afraid where terrorists sought to sow fear, they found resolve.
