Six Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists killed in Punjab operations

LAHORE: As many as six foreign terrorists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan were in operations jointly conducted by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Punjab Police in Taunsa and Bahawalpur.

According to details, Punjab Police along with CTD conducted a joint operation against the enemies of peace near Taunsa Sharif, in which 5 foreign terrorists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan were killed in the limits of Wahwa police station.

After the operation against terrorists in Taunsa, a clean and search operation is underway in the area. 8 terrorists were also seriously injured in this joint operation. DPO Dera Ghazi Khan Syed Ali reached the spot after the operation.

Similarly, CTD and Punjab police conducted a joint operation in Bahawalpur in which a terrorist belonging to Fitna-ul-Hindustan was killed while three of his accomplices managed to escape.

CTD spokesperson said that forces conducted timely action and foiled a major tragedy. A large number of bullets and hand grenades were recovered from the possession of the slain terrorist. A case has been registered and further investigation has been started.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to Punjab Police and CTD for the successful operation against Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists near Taunsa.
