QUETTA: A severe heatwave continues to grip several areas of Balochistan, with Sibi and Jacobabad experiencing extreme temperatures. In Sibi, the temperature has reached 50°C for the second consecutive day. According to data shared by the Meteorological Department, Dadu is the second hottest location, recording 49°C, followed by Dera Ghazi Khan in southwestern Punjab at 48°C.
The Met Office has forecast that the current heatwave is likely to persist over the coming days.
