KALAT: Traders and public observed a strike in Kalat against overbilling of electricity.
All Parties Trade Unions and commons of Kalat protested against the brutal of the Quetta Electric company citywide.
The meeting of all parties was held in the lawn of Municipal committee.
The people and that leader of trade unions took part and briefed about the over billing in the meeting.
A peaceful rally was conducted after the meeting which turned about to be a procession later on.
While talking to the protest Munir Ahmed Shawani, Haji Aziz Mughal and Mufti Tayab Haideri said that QESCO wants to recover the theft units from the public.
The agricultural tube wells have been shifted on solar panels but still electricity is being supplied to them.
The QESCO staff wants to collect money and impose the bill on the public for it.
Depsite the low rates of electricity, the traders of Kalat are over-charged.

The speakers said that until the complete elimination of overbilling, a complete shutter-down strike will be observed on Money,25th August.
