ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the blast at mosque in suburbs of Rawalpindi on Friday.
In a condolence message, Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the deaths caused by the attack. He offered condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for their relatives.
The prime minister met Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and directed authorities to carry out a full investigation. He ordered the immediate identification of those responsible.
Sharif instructed officials to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured. He directed the health minister to personally oversee medical care.
The prime minister said those behind the attack would be identified and punished according to the law. He added that the government would not allow anyone to spread violence and instability in the country.
