BALOCHISTAN: Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind has confirmed that two terrorists backed by India were eliminated during a counter-terrorism operation in the Mastung district, on Tuesday.
Shahid Rind told local media persons that the militants targeted government installations, including the tehsil office, a local bank, and other administrative buildings. The militants opened indiscriminate fire, killing a teenager on the spot and injuring at least seven others.
Rind further said that security forces, including the Frontier Constabulary (FC), Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and Levies, responded immediately, cordoned off the area, and engaged the terrorists in a fierce gunfight.
He confirmed that two militants were killed on the spot, while three others sustained injuries.
Rind added that the attackers are believed to be associated with ‘Fitna al Hindustan’.

Eyewitnesses and local officials, including Deputy Commissioner Athar Abbas Raja, reported intense gunfire and multiple blasts in Mastung around 11:00 AM, causing panic among local residents.
