QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and security forces have achieved a significant success by killing seven terrorists during an operation in Ziarat district of Balochistan on Tuesday.
According to the CTD, the joint operation was conducted in the Chutair area of Sanjawi tehsil of Ziarat over the reported presence of the terrorists.
During the exchange of firing, seven terrorists associated with a banned organisation.
The terrorists who were killed belonged to the banned militant group BLA (Baloch Liberation Army).
The CTD reported that the terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces, government installations, and civilians.

The personnel of the law enforcement agencies recovered explosives and weapons, indicating that they were planning to carry out attacks in the area.
