Seven Militants killed; three security personnel martyred in KP

RAWALPINDI: As many as seven Khawarij were killed and a lieutenant and three security personnel were martyred in two different operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Seven terrorists of India’s proxy organization Fitnatul Khawarij were killed in two separate clashes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 28.

According to ISPR statement, on the intervening night of May 28 and 29, the Khawarij, who were under Indian patronage in the Shawal area of ​​North Waziristan, attempted to attack security forces check post.

The statement said that the attacks of Fitnat-ul-Kharij were foiled by the soldiers of the Pakistan Army in a timely and effective manner, and 6 Khawarij were killed in a fierce exchange of fire.

According to the ISPR, among those who were martyred during the exchange of fire with the terrorists, 24-year-old Lieutenant Daniyal Ismail, a resident of Mardan district, Naib Subedar Kashif Raza, Lance Naik Fayaqat Ali and Sepoy Muhammad Hameed also sacrificed their lives for the country.

According to the ISPR, in another clash in Chitral district, a Khawarij terrorist under Indian patronage was also killed.

ISPR said that a sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other Khawarij found in the area. The security forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country. The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
