PESHAWAR: Security forces of Pakistan carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Karri Latti area of Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security sources said.
At least seven militants, including high profile terrorists of the Daud Bhittani group have been killed In the precision strike as a result.
Sources say the operation was launched following information about the presence of militants linked to a banned organisation. Security forces have completed the process of identifying the terrorists. The six terrorists killed have been identified as Abubakar, Muzammil, Sohail, Muaz, Toofan, and Baseer Parake.

Following the successful operation, security forces initiated a search in the area to ensure any remaining militants are neutralised.
The forces reaffirmed their commitment to continue operations until the last terrorist in the area is eliminated.
