TEHRAN: Iran has confirmed the death of another senior military commander following a series of Israeli airstrikes. Iranian military officials announced that Brigadier General Abdullah Jalali was killed during what they described as an Israeli attack while leading defensive operations.
In this regard, Brigadier General Jalali lost his life while coordinating military responses during the strikes.
Iranian military representatives stated that the strikes were carried out by what they referred to as the “Zionist entity,” and focused on that Jalali was among several senior military and security officials who have been killed since the beginning of the recent escalation.
Despite the losses, Iranian officials asserted that the country’s defensive capabilities remain operational and that military responses to the attacks are continuing.
They reasserted that the deaths of senior commanders would not weaken Iran’s resolve to maintain its national defense and security posture.
Iranian authorities stated that the country has launched another phase of military operations targeting United States military installations in the region.
According to statements attributed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the operation involved strikes aimed at American bases located in the United Arab Emirates.
The developments come amid rising regional tensions following continued exchanges of military actions and statements between the involved parties.
