QUETTA: Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch has announced that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given the approval of establishing a Danish School in Turbat, Kech District of Balochistan, aiming to promote education opportunities in the area.
According to details, following Senator Baloch’s proposal, the Prime Minister has directed OGDCL (Oil and Gas Development Company Limited) to fully fund the construction and establishment costs of the school under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme.
After receiving approval, Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch met with OGDCL’s Executive Director, Zia Salahuddin, who assured full financial support for the project. OGDCL will bear all expenses related to the school’s construction and setup, after which the completed facility will be handed over to the Project Director of Danish Schools for operational management.
During the meeting, the Executive Director also requested Senator Baloch’s assistance in identifying and providing suitable land for the school.
