KHARAN: Security forces conducted a timely and coordinated operation in Kharan, successfully neutralizing terrorists who were attempting to flee the area. The swift action by security personnel prevented a potential security threat and ensured the safety of local residents.
In this regard, the sources said that security forces received intelligence regarding the presence and movement of suspected militants in the area.
During the operation, security forces engaged the fleeing militants and neutralized them. The operation was completed in a controlled and professional manner, minimizing the risk of collateral damage.
Furthermore, the security personnel conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area to ensure it was free from any remaining threats. During the search, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from the same location.
The recovered IED was safely secured and disposed of according to standard operating procedures.
In this sense, the security representatives focused on the fact that such timely actions are part of ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in Balochistan.
