ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces on Saturday killed 27 terrorists belonging to the Fitna al Khawarij in a retaliatory operation in North Waziristan.
The terrorists were killed in an operation conducted in Mir Ali area of the North Waziristan after a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into his vehicle into a security forces convoy, killing 13 people, including security forces personnel.
As per reports, security forces conducted an operation in Mir Ali, killing 27 Khawarij. While fleeing, terrorists detonated an SB, injuring civilians, including women and children. A total of 13 soldiers embraced Martyrdom while fighting valiantly.

Timely action by forces prevented greater civilian loss. The area is being cleared of remaining threats.
