QUETTA: The security forces have accelerated its operations against terrorist groups in Balochistan, successfully neutralizing another 60 terrorists in the Mach area during a series of counter-terrorism actions.

The operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of armed militants affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in the region.

The government has reasserted its commitment to eradicating terrorism from all parts of the province. In this sense, the officials focused on that development and stability in Balochistan cannot move forward without eliminating the threat posed by extremist elements.

The operation in Mach is part of a broader counter-terrorism strategy aimed at ensuring long-term peace across the province.
