QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has imposed Section 144 across the entire province for a period of one month.
According to the notification issued by the Home Department of Balochistan, a complete ban has been placed on the display and use of weapons, pillion riding (double seating) on motorcycles, vehicles with tinted (black) windows, the use of unregistered vehicles, and gatherings of five or more people.
Additionally, there is a prohibition on covering one’s face in public places using masks, mufflers, or any other means that could obstruct identification.
The Home Department stated that Section 144 will apply province-wide starting from March 1, 2026, and will remain in effect for one month.
