The enforcement of section 144 in Balochistan expires

QUETTA: Deadline of the enforcement of section 144 in Balochistan has come to an end.

However, the provincial government has not extended the enforcement of section 144 in Balochistan.  Section 144 was enforced in Balochistan keeping on view the law-and-order and security situation in Balochistan. However, no further extension has been made so far by the political government.

Initially, section 144 was enforced in Balochistan on 15th August which was extended on 30th August.

However, the time frame of the section 144 has expired today and the Balochistan government has not yet made any decision of the extension of section 144.

The security forces have launched operations across Balochistan and have successfully eliminated many Fitna al Hindustan groups during this tenure.

Indian-backed militants target not only the armed forces but also the innocent civilians and the development infrastructure.

However, the armed forces are standing firm with their resolve to completely eliminate the Indian-funded militants.
