BANNU: The district administration announced the imposition of Section 144 in several areas of Bannu district, restricting civilian movement and the use of private vehicles. The decision has been taken as part of enhanced security measures to protect lives and property.
The restriction will remain in force today and tomorrow, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The administration stated that these measures are necessary to ensure the safe movement of personnel and logistical convoys passing through sensitive areas.
The areas affected by the ban include Miranshah Road, Bakakhel Market, Syedgi, Ghulam Khan, and Azad Mandi Road.
In this sense, the notification made it clear that legal action will be taken against those who violate the movement restrictions. Furthermore, local residents acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the restrictions, expressed understanding of the need for such measures.
