ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Saudi Arabia during a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on Tuesday.
The two leaders discussed rising tensions in the region. Prime Minister Sharif condemned the attack on the Al-Jubail oil facility and assured the Crown Prince that Pakistan’s government and people stand firmly with their Saudi brothers and sisters.
Sharif praised the Saudi leadership for exercising restraint and diplomacy amid the crisis and highlighted Pakistan’s active role in regional peace efforts.
Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman welcomed Pakistan’s mediation and acknowledged its efforts to restore stability and peace in the Middle East.

The call also included warm greetings for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, with Sharif sending best wishes and heartfelt salutations.
