Operation in Zehri bring relief to citizens: Sanaullah

Quetta: Senior Pakistan People’s Party leader and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, has said that the patriotic citizens of Zehri, who had long suffered under the grip of banned outfits, have finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He praised the courage and dedication of the security forces, stating that their successful operation has liberated the people of Zehri from the clutches of militants.

Following the decisive action in the Noor Gama area of Zehri, local residents not only expressed relief but also warmly welcomed the security forces.

Many described the operation as a milestone for restoring peace and stability in the region.

Nawab Sanaullah Zehri added that every resident of Zehri is patriotic, and now that the terrorist network has been dismantled, a new era of progress and prosperity will begin in the area.

In recent weeks, Balochistan has witnessed intensified security operations as part of the state’s ongoing efforts to dismantle militant networks and restore order in conflict-hit areas.

Several operations have been carried out in districts like Zehri, Awaran, Kech, Panjgur, and Mastung, where banned organizations were reportedly active.

These operations, often based on actionable intelligence, have targeted militant hideouts, weapon caches, and logistical networks used to destabilize the province.

Security forces’ actions have not only disrupted terror cells but also reassured local communities who had long suffered from violence, extortion, and restrictions imposed by militant groups.

In many areas, residents welcomed the operations, viewing them as a turning point toward stability and development.

However, such operations also underline the complex security environment in Balochistan, where cross-border smuggling, sectarian violence, and separatist elements pose persistent challenges.
