QUETTA: Senior leaders of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) have reaffirmed their commitment to serving the people of the province “without distinction.”
The pledge was made during a ceremony held at the party’s central secretariat on Thursday, where Central General Secretary Manzoor Ahmed Kakar formally administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Provincial President, Sardar Muhammad Saleh Bhutani, a former Chief Minister of Balochistan. Following the oath, Mr. Bhutani was seated in his new office.
In their addresses, both leaders stated that BAP is a “party of the people.” They highlighted the party’s record, claiming it has carried out “unprecedented” development work on the basis of equality across all districts of Balochistan.
They further asserted that the party’s current members in the national and provincial assemblies continue to serve constituents and raise their voices for public rights at every available forum. The leaders expressed confidence that party workers and officials would justify the trust placed in them through continued public service.

Balochistan Chief Minister (CM )Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has congratulated the newly elected leadership of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) following its intra-party elections.
In a statement, the Chief Minister praised the elections as a “shining example of transparency and democracy.” He extended his congratulations to key figures, including new Central President Federal Minister Nawabzoda Khalid Hussain Magsi, Central Secretary General Senator Manzoor Kakar, Provincial President Sardar Saleh Muhammad Bhutani, and Provincial General Secretary Haji Mitha Khan Kakar.
Bugti expressed confidence that the new leadership would strengthen the party’s commitment to serving the people of Balochistan and the country. He highlighted BAP’s role as a key coalition partner in both the central and provincial governments, stating that its organizational strength would positively impact politics at all levels.
The Chief Minister concluded by expressing his belief that the newly elected team would make the party more dynamic and lead new efforts in public service.
