Millions recovered after the robbery incident in Quetta

Quetta: Major Breakthrough in Rs 11.5 Crore Kutchery Market Robbery Case – Rs 2.25 Crore Recovered

In a significant development in the Rs 11.5 crore robbery that took place two months ago at Kutchery Market in Quetta, police have recovered Rs 2.25 crore in cash from the arrested suspects.

According to sources, three suspects have been arrested in the case so far, including CTD Inspector Aurangzeb Khokhar. Police suspect the involvement of additional police personnel in the heist.

Interrogation of the arrested accused is ongoing, and important revelations are expected.

Police say the robbery was carried out by an organized gang from Qilla Abdullah district, which has been involved in multiple other theft and robbery incidents.

Raids are being conducted at various locations to apprehend the remaining gang members, and efforts have been intensified.

Officials have stated that departmental action has already been initiated against the arrested police personnel, and strict measures will be taken against any involved officers under internal accountability.

It is recalled that the incident occurred in December 2025 within the limits of City Police Station at Kutchery Market, Quetta, where the robbers escaped after looting a large sum of cash.
