QUETTA: A woman dies in a road accident in Quetta.
According to details, the woman was riding on a motorcycle with his son on Quetta’s Sariab Road.
The motorcycle was hit by a truck with an immense force.
The tragic incident caused death of the woman, however, her son despite sustaining serious injuries survived.
The police arrived at the spot of accident and arrested the truck driver.
The body of the woman was shifted to the hospital.
The body was handed over to the family after formal proceedings.
The truck was also taken into the custody by the police. In another incident, a landlord survived a massive IED blast.
According to the police, an IED exploded with a blast in the Nuatal area.
A landlord passing by on his car had had a narrow escape in the blast incident.
The car was heavily damaged in the IED blast incident. The police cordoned off the area and launched the search operation.
In another incident on the Makran highway, three people lose their lives in a tragic road incident.
A trolly carrying a family was moving from Gwadar to Karachi. Due to overspeed, the trolly overturned and fell into a ditch on the roadside.
Three people including a child died on the spot in the tragic incident. A man sustained serious injuries.
The bodies of the demised people were shifted to Karachi. The man sustaining injuries was shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital.
It is worth mentioning that the poor road infrastructure, over speeding and careless driving and transport goods stuffing the road cause massive loss of lives on Balochistan roads.
The two-way roads are few and far in the province.
The lack of monitoring and chalan system on the roads of Balochistan is another reason why the road accidents occur too frequently in Balochistan.
The number of people dying in road accident is horrible.
