The Balochistan government has issued a strict seven-day deadline for families to report missing family members or those who have joined militant groups.

Quetta: The Balochistan government has issued a strict seven-day deadline for families to report missing family members or those who have joined militant groups.

In a new directive from the Balochistan Home Department, the public, parents, and families are required to inform authorities if a family member is missing or has joined a non-state actor or terrorist organization. This information must be reported to the nearest police station or a Frontier Corps (FC) or Army unit within one week.

The government has stated that failure to provide this information within the given timeframe will result in action being taken against those who withheld it. This move is seen as a significant step to improve security and gather crucial intelligence on militant activities and missing persons cases in the province.
