NAUKANDI: The Community Engagement Manager of Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC), Ali Dost Yalanzai, has announced that new jobs opportunities will be created in Reko Diq in coming months, adding that the company’s policy is to prioritize employment for the local population, especially youth from nearby villages.
During a visit to nearby village Kali Dorban Chah, Ali Dost Yalanzai highlighted the RDMC’s commitment to finding a permanent solution to unemployment and involving local residents in the region’s development process. Yalanzai was accompanied by RDMC’s General Manager Ryan Mitchell, HR Lead Inayatullah Kabdani, and the HR team from Capital Drilling Company during the visit.
Ali Dost and team members visit highlighted RDMC’s practical commitment to providing jobs to local youth, a move warmly welcomed by the residents of Kali. Representatives from Capital Drilling also acknowledged the importance of local youth and confirmed that new employment opportunities will be created in the coming months. They have already collected detailed data of eligible youth to ensure maximum access to these opportunities.
On the occasion, tribal leaders, including Muhammad Karim Sherzai, Shah Nazar Dagarzai, Malik Mahmood Mohammadzai, Syed Shai Bashir Syed Balanoshi, Mullah Tawakkul Khan Burhanzai, Ghulam Nabi Sherzai, Abdul Qadir Burhanzai, Jangi Khan Mishwani, Malik Noor Ahmad Sherzai, and other community members expressed their heartfelt thanks to RDMC and Capital Drilling officials.
They praised the visit as more than a formal exercise, viewing it as a sincere and earnest effort to open doors of development and employment for the locals. Special appreciation was extended to Ali Dost Yalanzai for his dedication, sincerity, and practical measures addressing local issues.
