A joint rehabilitation program launched for children

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps and Senter Day Welfare Group have launched a joint rehabilitation program for the deaf children in the Kharan area of Balochistan.

Under the program, 22 deaf children were shifted to FC Hospital Quetta where they were properly examined.

The children were provided with the hearing aids in accordance with their individual need.

In order to improvise the hearing and speech for their inclusion in the educational and social activities, the training sessions were also arranged.

The parents were provided with guideline of the accurate tuning, usage and the look after of the instruments to ensure that that the instrument have a long-lasting impact and the hearing of the children grows.

This move is a demonstration of FC’s resolve for the social welfare and development.

The program is not only returning the blessing of speaking and hearing to the disable children but it also strengthens the message that every child in Balochistan has an equal right to live a healthy and peaceful life.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan Army, FC and the other armed forces of Pakistan have launched multiple such program in Balochistan aiming to provide people with free health services and medical check-ups.

The people from the remote areas visit such free medical camps in large number.

The free medical camp not only provide people with the check-up facility but significant treatments, vital medicines and extremely valuable medical-aids are also provided for free.

Such programs by the armed forces express the depth and the intensity of the relationship between the armed forces and the people of Balochistan.

The people from the remote and far areas of Balochistan have always expressed their gratitude and love for their armed forces for revealing such a tremendous healthcare for the public.

They demand that such programs should be extended to more Balochistan areas.
