QUETTA: Multiple events and rallies were held in Balochistan, including its provincial capital Quetta, to mark Youm-i-Takbeer.
A rally was organised on Airport Road, Quetta, by Kisan Ittehad. Citizens, carrying Pakistan flags, joined a rally and chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan, including Pakistan Zindabad.
Similarly, Sui, on the joyous occasion of Youm-i-Takbeer, a grand and dignified rally was organized from Pakistan House, Sui. The rally was led by prominent tribal leaders Wadera Dal Murad Bugti, Wadera Mir Muhammad, and Town Chairman of Sui, Izzatullah Aman.
The enthusiastic participation of the Bugti tribes added great significance and honor to this national day. Participants marched holding national flags and chanting slogans of patriotism and unity. Public gatherings were held at various points where the importance of Youm e Takbeer and national sovereignty was highlighted.
Youm-i-Takbeer commemorates the historic moment of May 28, 1998, when Pakistan conducted nuclear tests, proving to the world that it is a sovereign, strong, and invincible nation.
The rally participants paid tribute to the unity, determination, and sacrifices of the nation. They also renewed their pledge to offer every sacrifice necessary for the integrity, sovereignty, and progress of Pakistan.
Similarly, rallies were also held in other parts of the province to celebrate May 28.
The active participation of tribal leaders in the National Day celebrations is a beautiful example of national unity. This rally is not just a march but a message that Balochistan is a strong arm of Pakistan and stands with the homeland in every difficult time.
