QUETTA: Former senator and senior political figure Nawabzada Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani has highlighted the need for intellectuals, including students, lawyers and activists, to unite in peaceful political resistance to address the Balochistan’s collective national issues.
While criticizing the government for its failure in solving the Balochistan’s problem, Raisani expressed concern that personal and group interests are overshadowing the province’s broader concerns.

Commenting on the political dynamics, he claimed that previously, government jobs and contracts were auctioned in Balochistan. Today, he observed, even assembly seats are being traded, undermining democratic processes. He reiterated his commitment to raising awareness about the province’s collective national issues, aiming to mobilize the people towards constructive change.
