QUETTA: Rain showers are expected in many cities across Balochistan after an intense heatwave.
According to report by the weather department, rain is expected in many cities of Balochistan.
The reports says that the thunderstorm and rain showers are expected in Barkhan, Zhob, Musa Khel, Shirani, Kohlu, Loralai, Sibi, Dera Bugti, Ziarat, Harnai, Kalat, Lasbela and Khuzdar.
The report said that there was a wave of an extreme heat in the entire Balochistan’s region in the past 24 hours.
The temperature also remained on the higher side. Dal Bandin remained the hottest city of Balochistan with the temperature of 43 degrees.
Nokundi was the second hottest city with the temperature of 42 degrees. Sibi too was very hot with 40 degrees.
Quetta, which is thought to be the coldest of all Balochistan cities, was as hot 37.5 degrees.

No rainfall is reported in the past 24 hours. However, the weather department has forecasted rain in the next two days.
