QUETTA: Most districts of Balochistan are expected to remain hot and dry today. However, according to the Meteorological Department, areas such as Barkhan, Kohlu, Zhob, Musa Khel, Khuzdar, Panjgur, and nearby regions may experience partly cloudy skies in the afternoon with chances of rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms.Over the past 24 hours, most parts of the province remained under intense heat, with some areas witnessing partly cloudy conditions in the afternoon. Turbat recorded the highest temperature in Balochistan at 40°C.The weather department forecasts that hot and dry conditions will likely persist in the coming 24 hours, though occasional rain and thunderstorms in some areas may bring temporary relief from the heat.

The weather in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to remain hot and dry. However, in some areas including Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Kohat, Hangu, Waziristan, and Kurram, there is a chance of rain with strong winds and thunder, with moderate to heavy rainfall and hail in some places.
