Islamabad : The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain in several regions of the country including those of Balochistan today and tomorrow.
According to the department, the weather in Islamabad and surrounding areas is expected to remain hot and partly cloudy during the day, with chances of rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in the evening.
Meteorologists predict that most parts of the country will experience hot and dry weather, with extremely high temperatures in the plains.
Dust storms and strong winds are expected in parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan, with a possibility of hail at isolated locations.
In addition, rain with strong winds is anticipated in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The PMD also reported that on the previous day, Jacobabad recorded the highest temperature at 51°C, while temperatures reached 49°C in Bahawalnagar, Turbat, Lasbela, Sibi, and Mohenjo-daro. Cities like Dadu, Rohri, Noorpur Thal, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, and Sukkur saw temperatures hitting 48°C.
